We are excited to be offering inclusive football sessions for children, for those with Special Educational Needs or disabilities every Sunday on the 3G pitches in Cambourne.

These sessions are supported by the Club, the Town Council and the welcome support of sponsor SEN Legal - a nationwide specialist legal practice representing the families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Building on Taster sessions that ran at the end of 2021, regular Sunday sessions will run every week 11:30am to 12:30pm and interested families are asked to register their child in advance. At each session there will be qualified and experienced coaches with more coaches to come on board during 2022.

Sponsor of these sessions, Hayley Mason, Director and Senior Solicitor at SEN Legal Ltd said;

"We are firm believers at SEN Legal that every child/young person should be able to fulfil their ability, regardless of disability. We are delighted to support the Club and Cambourne Town Council to launch their disability football sessions to ensure those previously unable to access football as an activity will have the opportunity to do so."

The launch of these sessions comes after Cambourne Town FC has been chosen by the Co-op to be part of their Local Community Fund scheme. All monies raised will be used to develop our inclusive football activities, making sure Cambourne Town Football Club is accessible to all.

Our aim is to be a fully inclusive Football Club and ensure players who require additional support due to disability, impairment, health condition or additional mental or physical needs have access and enjoy everything our growing club and superb facilities offer.

If you have any questions or would like to register your child for these sessions please contact Owen Baker, Football Development Officer by email: owen.baker@cambournetowncouncil.gov.uk
